ROBERT M. HOYLE
Bob Hoyle is an aerospace professional with a diverse background in Aircraft Interior and Exterior Completion Management, Used Aircraft Sales, Flight Operations, Aircraft Maintenance Management, and Aircraft Project Management.
Bob has over 47 years of active aviation experience, has held an FAA Airframe & Powerplant License since 1974, and an FAA Inspection Authorization since 1977. His 23 year employment with a major aircraft manufacturer involved all aspects of the aircraft manufacturing process from initial concept design through final delivery of completed aircraft. As Chief of Maintenance for the Canadair Challenger Demonstration Flight department, he acquired extensive domestic and international flight operations experience with VIP aircraft.
Bob’s proven ability to recognize issues and implement the necessary changes to recover troubled projects in a timely and cost effective manner was demonstrated on numerous projects for Bombardier Aerospace. These projects included VIP Interior Installations and Special Mission Modifications on Challenger and Global Express Aircraft.
After graduating from East Coast Aeronautical Technical School, Bob launched his professional aviation career in the aircraft maintenance sector. Bob held various aircraft maintenance positions including: A&P Mechanic, Aircraft Inspector, Night Shift Supervisor, Assistant Director of Aircraft Maintenance, and Director of Aircraft Maintenance until joining Canadair in 1980. During Bob’s career with Canadair and Bombardier Aerospace, he continued to gain experience and recognition in the aerospace industry while holding positions of Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic, Aircraft Inspector, Flight Mechanic, Chief of Maintenance, Used Aircraft Sales Technical Manager, Manager Aircraft Completions, Manager Special Mission Programs, and Senior Customer Relations Manager.
